Disaster Management Training For Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

GUWAHATI: A team of qualified instructors of 1ST Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is imparting flood rescue techniques, motorized boat handling and maintenance training to 30 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel from Northeast from February 4 to 16, 2019 at Mirza, Guwahati, Assam. The subjects which cover during the training are flood rescue techniques, boat handling & Maintenance etc.

According to a press release, NDRF team gives training to CRPF on how to save victims from drowning and shift them to the shore and provide pre- hospital treatment. NDRF also trained the Central Reserve Police Force personnel in Boat Handling and Maintenance. The objective of the training was to prepare the Central Reserve Police Force Personnel to rescue people during calamities and emergencies.
