Dispur to Appoint 173 Junior Administrative Assistants in Assam Secretariat Soon

GUWAHATI: The Secretariat Administration Department (SAD) of Assam will appoint 173 Junior Administrative Assistants (JAA) shortly in the Assam Secretariat.

The State government had advertised for the vacancies in the latter part of 2020 and around 73,000 people had applied for the jobs. As many as 40,000 applicants took the written test that was held on February 21, 2021. The written examinations were conducted by the Assam Institute of Management (AIM) on behalf of the Assam Government. The SAD has now asked the AIM to declare the results as soon as possible.
