Do not charge parking fees of shopping malls and cinema halls: GMC

GUWAHATI: The GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) has asked the owners of shopping malls and cinema halls not to charge parking fees in their respective premises.

A top official of GMC said, "It is not justified for the mall and cinema hall owners to charge extra parking fees from their customers. On the other hand, the former should provide the parking slots to their clients." The source added, "Strict action will be taken against anyone violating this rule.
