Drug peddlers caught with opium in possession

GUWAHATI: Government Railway Police recovered six packets of suspected opium weighing approximately 3.5 kg from the possession of one Kusum Pradhan, 38, and Geeta Poudel, 36, both from Imphal on Wednesday at Guwahati railway station. The two were onboard down Brahmaputra Mail Express and have been taken into custody.
