FINER delegation meets Industry Minister Bimal Borah at Janata Bhawan

GUWAHATI: A high-level delegation of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of North Eastern Rigion (FINER) met Bimal Borah, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Public Enterprise at the Janata Bhawan on Monday.

The delegation was headed by Pabitra Burhagohain and Bajrang Lohia, president and vice president of FINER respectively. The FINER team apprised the Minister know about their organization and activities. The team also discussed the merits of the Act East Policy and its impact on the growth of industries in Assam. They also emphasized on the development of Indo- Bangla border for the ease of doing business. The team of industrialists also given stressed on the preparation of a data base so that aspirants entrepreneurs can set up industries based on bamboo.

Bora asked the group to take action to attract investors to Assam for overall prosperity of the State.
