Four drug peddlers apprehended by Noonmati Police, 3 mobile phones recovered

GUWAHATI: Four drug peddlers were apprehended by the Noonmati Police after a special operation against the menace of drugs in the city. The police have seized a huge quantity of heroin from the accused who have been identified as Haren Kalita of Amayapur, Budheswar Biswas (42) of Bhabanipur, Bapdhan Pathak(28) of Geetanagar and Niranjan Aggarwala (48) a native of Rajasthan. Along with the drugs, the police have recovered three mobile phones, Rs. 3,000, a Tata Zest car and a scooty bearing registration number AS 01 KC 1343 and AS01ED8195 respectively.
