Gauhati University students seriously injured at a cricket match
Three students of Gauhati University – Sandeep Basumatary, Karuna Gogoi and Jewcharan Basumatary – were injured when they were beaten up at a cricket match in the University playground on Saturday night.

GUWAHATI: Three students of Gauhati University – Sandeep Basumatary, Karuna Gogoi and Jewcharan Basumatary – were injured when they were beaten up at a cricket match in the University playground on Saturday night. All the three are under treatment.
A case (137/21) has been registered at Jalukbari Police Station to this effect. According to the FIR, Anuj Pratim Bora and a few others of GU Law College students of Hostel number AT-9 have been named in the FIR.
