Gorchuk police seize over 70 kg cannabis, two detained in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Gorchuk police seized over 70 kg of cannabis while carrying it illegally in a truck (TR01- AU1894)from Tripura to North India via Guwahati last night, and detained two persons named Babul Biswas (the driver) and Haradhan Das (handyman).

According to sources, the truck contained 51 packets of cannabis. And police have taken legal action, and are still leading an operation at Bethkuchi, ISBT.
