GRP arrests two Mobile lifters in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Two Mobile lifters have been nabbed By the GRP with the cooperation of the RPF at the Guwahati Railway Station. They have been identified as Kasim Ali (22) and Ramjan Ali (38). Both are sons of Abdul Mannan of Bandarkona in Karimganj district. The duo allegedly stole a mobile handset from one Jitendra Kr Thakur at the Railway ticket counter near the ASTC bus terminus on November 2. They were arrested the next day. Meanwhile, the GRP has registered a case (case no 394/18 u/s 379). They were produced in the court today and were remanded to judicial custody.
