GRP Personnel Arrested Three With Opium in Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: GRP personnel arrested two persons – Manipal (50) and Rohitash Kumar Jat (32), both hailing from Rajasthan – along with 4 kg suspected opium from the Down Brahmaputra Mail in Guwahati Railway Station on Wednesday. The duo, bound for New Delhi, boarded the train at Dimapur. On Tuesday night too, the GRP arrested a man, Rabindra Choudhury (35) hailing from Bihar, with half kg of opium from the Amritsar Express.
