Guwahati Municipal Corporation bars 7 ERTPs from issuing building permits

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) today barred seven Empanelled Registered Technical Persons (ERTPs) from issuing building permits under the Mukhya Mantri Sohoj Griha Nirman Achoni (MMSGNA).

According to a GMC order, during a random inspection of a site under the MMSGNA, the inspection team detected deviations from the approved drawing and NOCs (No-Objection Certificate) of permissions from the seven ERTPs.

The barred ERTPs are Rang-Ghar Architects, TR Dutta & Associates, Di-Tech Engineers, Siddhartha Deb, Mona Basar, Luiet Parashar Hazarika and Naren Kalita.

The civic body restricted all the seven ERTPs from issuing building permits for six months according to the Guwahati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971 and Guwahati Building Construction (Regulation) Byelaws, 2014.
