Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) Gears up to Increase Revenue Collection

GUWAHATI: With a move to increase revenue collection, the GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) has entrusted five senior officers to regularly supervise/monitor the six zones under the Corporation.

The officers will visit their respective zones regularly and supervise/monitor all aspects in the zones like revenue collection related matters, trade licence issuance etc. The GMC Commissioner has given charge to the following officers –

* Pulak Mahanta, Additional Commissioner, GMC - Central Zone & South Zone

* Satyajyoti Baruah, Joint Commissioner, GMC - Lokhra Zone

* Siddhartha Goswami, Joint Commissioner-II, GMC - West Zone

* Aditya Gogoi, Municipal Secretary, GMC- Dispur Zone

* Navadeep Sangmai, Collector, GMC East Zone
