Guwahati Municipal Corporation team imposes fine on 3 hospitals

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation team inspected and examined the biomedical waste management of various hospital of the city, on Wednesday.

The team inspected the following hospitals situated at GS road, Bhangagarh and Christian Basti: Nemcare hospitals pvt ltd., Pulse diagnostic, Primus Imaging pvt ltd., and Apollo hospitals Guwahati.

The Pulse Diagnostic and Apollo Hospital, Guwahati was fined Rs 20,000 each for various irregularities. A penalty of Rs 5,000 was imposed on Primus Imaging pvt ltd. for not following the Solid Waste Management rules.
