Guwahati Planetarium to hold online quiz competition on December 16

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Planetarium is going to hold an online State-level quiz and astronomical model making competition on December 16 as part of its stalled year-long celebration from August 17, 2019 to August 16, 2020. According to Guwahati Planetarium Curator Babul Chandra Bora, the celebration had to be put on hold because of the outbreak of COVID-19. On the concluding ceremony the planetarium is going to inaugurate two astronomical galleries and a virtual reality zone (VRZ), the Curator said. He said that at present they are showing three shows maintaining all COVID-19 protocols.
