Guwahati Police recovers chopped body pieces from neighbour's kitchen

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police on Thursday evening recovered the dead body of a woman who was brutally chopped to pieces in west Boragaon.
The deceased has been identified as Antima Gupta and her husband as Santosh Gupta.The couple live in a rented apartment. The Police ultimately found the body in the kitchen of Devajani Das - a neighbour. The police recovered a mobile phone and the murder weapon from the spot. Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Santosh Gupta filed a missing complaint of his wife at Gorchuk Police Station. The couple live in a rented apartment. Further Police is interrogating Devjani Das, Rajesh Gupta -- relative of the victim, and her husband Santosh Gupta. In a late night development, Devjani Das was arrested in this case.
