Guwahati: Woman Found Dead In GMCH's Washroom

Guwahati: A 21-year-old, Ahshiya Khatun woman was found dead in the washroom of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday.

According to reports, she was there at the hospital for the treatment of her child.

Meanwhile, the woman's mother has accused her husband Hadi Ali of being behind the death.

She has alleged that Ali who is Ashiya's second husband had a fight with her on Saturday night inside the hospital complex.

She also revealed that both of them were engaged in frequent fights with each other as Ali doubted her wife of being in contact with her husband.

Presently, the police have sent the body for a post-mortem report and are investigating the case.
