Haj pilgrims asked to deposit advance amount on or before May 6

GUWAHATI: The Joint State Haj Committee of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Sikkim has directed provisionally selected Haj pilgrims of these States to deposit an advance Haj payment amount of Rs 81,000 each on or before May 6.

The pilgrims have also been directed to submit the relevant pay-in slips along with Medical Screening and Fitness certificates to the Joint State Committee within the same deadline. The Unique Bank Reference Number provided to each cover must be mentioned in the Remittance Receipt (Pay-in Slip). The Haj Committee further mentioned that the final payable amount will be intimated to the pilgrims after finalization of tender for airfare amount and expenses in Saudi Arabia are received by the Indian Consulate General in Jeddah.
