Handloom and Textile expo underway
The district-level exhibition-cum-sale by Handloom and Textile, Kamrup for a period of five days has kicked off from February 11.

GUWAHATI: The district-level exhibition-cum-sale by Handloom and Textile, Kamrup for a period of five days has kicked off from February 11.
The exhibition was sponsored by Director Handloom and Textile, Ambari under the State Plan General Scheme. A total of 17 stalls participated in the exhibition. Various SHGs and handloom cooperative societies participated in the exhibition.
The motto of the exhibition is to sell the products which remain unsold because of the Covid-induced lockdown.
Assistant Director Nishikanta Sarmah stated, "The speciality of the exhibition is that the buyers will get original eri and Muga Paat products, including ghisa products."
