Inspector apprehended on molestation charges in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Jalukbari Outpost Sub Inspector, Krishna Saikia was detained by Pan Bazaar Police on charges of molestation on Friday. The incident occurred at a pan shop in Lakhtokia and the victim has lodged a case (897/18u/s394/354 IPC) at Pan Bazaar Police Station. Krishna Saikia has also lodged an FIR (898/18u/s341/323 IPS) on the woman and her companion on charges of assault against him.
