IPL betting racket busted, 3 held by Guwahati Police

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police, Crime Branch launched a drive from Monday night and busted an Indian Premier League (IPL) betting racket. Police have so far arrested three persons in this connection. They are Rajesh Jain who was arrested from Bharalumukh and Dipesh Bajaria and Rounak Bajaria from Christian Basti.

Police sources said that the arrested persons were involved in running an IPL betting racket in the city's Fancy Bazar area as well as across the State. Sources added that more arrests are likely to be made during the ongoing operation.
