Kamakhya to have domes with golden pitchers atop

GUWAHATI: With supply of gold by Mukesh Ambani, three pitchers below the golden top pitchers Kamakhya Temple here will be made of gold. The top pitchers of the three domes of the temple are of gold.

The Doloi of the temple, KabindraSarma said that the preliminary works of the temple have already been completed and the entire work will be completed before Dipawali. "The Reliance group has sent workers from their company and we have also received the gold which was brought under tight security. The temple premises have been beefed up with tight security provided by the company itself," Sarma said.

The Doloi further stated that tourists and pilgrims will be able to get a new glimpse of the temple from Diwali. "We are happy and excited to have a glimpse of the Kamakhya temple in a new look," said the Doloi.
