GUWAHATI: As per the directives of the state government, all branches and amalgamated establishments of the DC office of Kamrup Metro will be available in e-office mode from Tuesday. All petitions and service-related requests are to be mailed to a desiccated mail address. Following are the details regarding the new standard operating procedures for the office. A few categories of files are expected from the e-file system as of now. These are court case matters, departmental proceedings, confidential matters, and the election office of the district.
The DIO, NIC of Kamrup Metro, and his team will remain custodians of the email ID for the public and stakeholders submitting various requests. This team will download all the digital submissions on an hourly basis and distribute the same to the different branches and amalgamated establishments in their respective e-mails without fail and in an uninterrupted manner.
All the branches and amalgamated establishments of the DC office will have their own email ids, and one branch nodal staff member from the senior and junior assistants and one NIC staff member will receive the respective digital submissions from the public and stakeholders as forwarded by the DIO, NIC and take necessary action.
All the Circle Offices under Kamrup Metropolitan District, namely Azara Revenue Circle, Chandrapur Revenue Circle, Dispur Revenue Circle, Guwahati Revenue Circle, and Sonapur Revenue Circle, will designate one Nodal Staff from among the senior and junior assistants to download all the digital petitions and other service-related e-mail from the district headquarters to their Circle Office to process the same in the e-office in the respective Circle Office without fail and in an uninterrupted manner.
A manual receipt of petitions and prayers for different requests will be available at the Central Receipt Section located on the ground floor of the DC office.
