Kendriya Vidyalaya, Amerigog Celebrated Annual Day At CRPF Campus

GUWAHATI: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Amerigog, GC, CRPF, Guwahati celebrated its Annual Day with unprecedented fanfare on Saturday in the premises of their school at CRPF campus. Prakash D, IPS, IGP, North Eastern Sector, Shillong invited as the chief guest.

The School Principal RK Bharati, welcomed the chief guest. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries was followed by a welcome speech by school principal in the presence CT Venkatesh, DIGP of the Group Centre, CRPF and other CRPF officers, teachers and parents of the childrens. Meritorious students were given medals and certificates. Toppers in 12th and 10th students were given prizes. Teachers were also felicitated. IG, exhorted the students to excel in studies, learn values and become good citizens of the country.

The programme conclude with the Saraswat Vandana, dance of Tiny Tots, Yoga display, Bhangra, modern dance and also a presentation on Annual report given by the Kendriya Vidyalaya school, a press release stated.
