KMSS (Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti) leader Akhil Gogoi Sent To Jail

GUWAHATI: KMSS (Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti) leader Akhil Gogoi has been sent to 14-day judicial remand by the NIA Court, Guwahati. Gogoi was produced before the NIA Court here on Friday. The NIA did seek custody of the KMSS leader. The court, however, sent him to judicial remand. The court further said that family members and advocates of KMSS leader can meet him. He should also be ensured medical examination and treatment as and when necessary.
