Lawyer found dead in Bhetapara, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: One Kandarpa Ojha was found dead in his residence on the Kanaklata Path at Bhetapara. According to information, the deceased, a lawyer by profession, was found dead inside his residence with his throat slit. A team from the Basistha Police Station arrived at the place and sent the body for post-mortem. Family members claimed that he committed suicide inside his room by slitting his throat with a machete. However, the exact reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained. The police have started an investigation into the matter.
