New COVID-19 advisory for Kamrup (Metro)

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (M) district administration has issued an advisory urging people to follow COVID-19 protocol, including wearing of masks and getting vaccinated at the earliest.

The advisory issued on Friday mentioned that starting Saturday, non-vaccinated people will not be allowed to enter Government offices, public places like malls, hotels and other private establishments. Non-vaccinated persons will be allowed entry only into hospitals, the advisory stated.

It may be mentioned that the district administration has also directed all malls, cinema halls etc., not to allow entry of people without double-dose vaccination and it is keeping a close watch to ensure adherence to this precaution.
