Special train between New Tinsukia and Puri; Two trains to run with revised timings

GUWAHATI: To fulfil the demand of passengers, Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume daily train service between Dekargaon - Murkongselek from December 15. Moreover, it has been decided to run one weekly special train between New Tinsukia and Puri for eight trips from each direction. The train will run leaving New Tinsukia from 12th December, 2021 to 30th January, 2022 and leaving Puri from 15th December, 2021 to 2nd February, 2022. On the other hand, Train No. 13161 Kolkata - Balurghat express and Train No. 13064 Balurghat - Howrah express will run with revised timings w.e.f. 13-12-2021 for the benefit of passengers.

Resumption of train: Train No. 15813 Dekargaon - Murkongselek express will run on everyday leaving from Dekargaon at 04-45 hours to reach Murkongselek at 13-45 hours. In return direction, Train No. 15814 Murkongselek - Dekargaon express will run on everyday leaving from Murkongselek at 15-00 hours to reach Dekargaon at 00-30 hours next day.

Special Train: Train No. 05970 New Tinsukia - Puri weekly superfast special will run for eight trips leaving New Tinsukia on every Sunday at 22-30 hours w.e.f. 12th December, 2021 to reach Puri at 11-00 hours on Tuesday. In return direction, Train No. 05969 Puri - New Tinsukia weekly superfast special will run for eight trips leaving Puri on every Wednesday at 05-00 hours w.e.f. 15th December, 2021 to reach New Tinsukia at 16-45 hours on Thursday.

Revised Timings: Train No. 13161 Kolkata - Balurghat express will run with revised timings at Eklakhi, Gazole, Buniadpur, Ganga Rampur, Rampur Bazar and Balurghat stations. Train No. 13064 Balurghat - Howrah express will run with revised timings at Balurghat, Ganga Rampur, Buniadpur, and Gazole stations. The details of timings and stoppages of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway.

"Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey. Passengers are also requested to observe the Covid-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey,", stated a press release.
