Obituary: Rathindra Choudhury

Rathindra Choudhury expired on September 20, 2021 at 3.15 am at TATA Memorial Medical Centre, Kolkata. He died at the age of 73. He was an accomplished and intelligent man. This exceptional personality was the son of Pretul Choudhury. He did academics in Dibrugarh itself.

He did his schooling in Don Bosco School and passed out from BHSK College. He was the manager of Howrah Insurance Co and New Delhi Assurance Co. He represented Don Bosco School, DHSK College and Dibrugarh University in football and cricket. He also represented Dibrugarh district in football (1967) and cricket (1968). He was badminton secretary in Dibrugarh District Sports Association. He was panel of umpire of ACA 1973 batch upto the 80's. He was treasurer of NCP of Dibrugarh district. He left behind his two sons and four grandchildren and also lots of friends and well wishers.
