One more arrested in a pre-matric scholarship scam in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In connection with the pre-matric scholarship scam, the CID sleuths on Monday arrested a person named Abu Mucha Ahmed (48) from Badlabazar under Kamrup district. The accused is a business correspondent of Allahabad Bank and owner of CSP located at Badlabazar, Nagarbera. He was produced before the Court on Tuesday which has sent him to four-day police remand. With this, total arrests in connection with the case stands at 30.
