Parag Kumar Das memorial lecture organised at Cotton University

GUWAHATI: The first memorial lecture on the topic, 'Freedom - An Unending Quest', was organised by the Parag Kumar Das Memorial Trust at the Sudmersen Hall of Cotton University here on Thursday.The lecture was held to commemorate the birth anniversary of slain journalist, human rights activist, and former editor of Asomiya Pratidin Late Parag Kumar Das.

Speaking on the occasion, noted writer and critic Dr Tilottoma Misra said, "People's movements proved to be more powerful in the past as they had more freedom to express their views."
