PIB Guwahati organizes webinar on 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'

GUWAHATI: 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' is providing catalytic spur to AtmaNirbhar Entrepreneurship and Socio-Economic Development, experts emphasized in a webinar organized by Press Information Bureau (PIB), Guwahati on the topic here on Thursday. A galaxy of experts from textile, fashion industry and socio-economic cultural fraternity, government sector along with academicians deliberated and discussed about the topic from varied perspective.

Talking about the teachings of SardarVallabhbhai Patel and 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat', Padma ShriNareshChanderLal, Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Andamaan and Nicobar Islands, said that environment and bio-diversity of a place, is another aspect of cultural development. He said that Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat is sustainable development with respect and accessibility to culture and ethos of a place. He lauded PIB Guwahati team for the webinar and for the public awareness initiative on the topic.

Dr. PragyaPaliwal Gaur, ADG (Region), Press Information Bureau and Regional Outreach Bureau, Jaipur said that 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' is appreciation of multiple cultures of the country and how it is leading to socio-economic development, particularly the evolving importance of woman entrepreneurs in multiple arenas of work.

BarnaliMahanta, Information Assistant, Press Information Bureau, Guwahati said that the culture and the discipline, hard work of women entrepreneurs in a place also affects the quality and final results leading to a WIN-WIN scenario for various efficacious opportunities in the value chain of development.

Hiramani Das, Field Exhibition Officer, Regional Outreach Bureau, Guwahati said in this context, the Railways and Airlines are connecting places of tourism which helps in cultural appreciation of a place too. She said that the celebration in Assam including that of Rongali, Kongali and BhogaliBihu, Baisagu and Bohuwa dance demonstrates the culture of people.

According to a release, the public awareness webinar on teachings of Sardar Patel was managed and coordinated by SamratBandyopadhyay, Joint Director, PIB Guwahati. While PallavChakravorty, Deputy Director, PIB welcomed the experts, along with students, eminent journalists and other government senior officials from Press Information Bureau, Doordarshan, Regional Outreach Bureau, All India Radio of Delhi, Assam and Rajasthan were also present on the occasion.
