GUWAHATI: RPF (Railway Protection Force) traced two siblings at Kishanganj Railway Station. The two siblings had gone missing from their Hatigaon residence here yesterday.

According to the police, the RFP also apprehended a youth with two siblings from Kishanganj. The two siblings identified the youth as their maternal uncle before the RPF.

A team of Hatigaon police left for Kishanganj.

The two children – a 13-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy— went missing from their residence at Sijubari yesterday.

It is still to confirm if it is a kidnapping case. The police suspect that the mother of the two siblings might have taken her daughter and son away. She separated from her husband recently. "Their mother has recently-separated. Since the father was not available today, we are looking if the mother has secretly taken the two children away. The investigation is on," police sources said.
