Regional Transport Authority registered 88 cases over excess fare

GUWAHATI: The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has registered 88 cases in the last 30 days against city bus operators and Magic operators for charging fare in excess of those fixed by the RTA.

The cases were registered on the basis of complaints lodged by commuters at the phone numbers (6901269006 and 6026176755) opened for the purpose by the RTA. The RTA has appealed to the public to utilize these two numbers to intimate any unlawful act by public transport operators.
