Register and submit service-profile details by December 10, Samagra Shiksha, Assam urges teachers

GUWAHATI: The SSA (Samagra Shiksha, Assam) has urged the state's teaching fraternity to register and submit their service-profile details by December 10 for smooth implementation of the transfer and posting of teachers. The State Education Department recently started the process of teacher transfer as per 'The Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers' (Regulation of Posting and Transfer) Act- 2020' to improve the quality of education and also to maintain better PTR (Pupil Teacher Ratio) in the schools. In this regard, the SSA has asked all category of school teachers of the government and provincialised schools -- from lower primary to senior secondary -- to register and submit their service-profile details from November 22 to December 10 in the web portal https://hrmsassam.in.
