Release of two books penned by Ramesh Chandra Talukdar in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Veteran writer Ramesh Chandra Talukdar's poetry collection 'Duwar Doli' and collection of essays 'Chaturbhuj, Batehi Aru Anyanya' were released in an occasion held by 'Paragjyoti Prakashan' in the premises of 'Bangora Public Library' at South Bangora Amartol. The books were released in the ceremony in the presence of two hundred literary persons. The programme commenced with the recitation 'Saraswati Bandana' by Dr Kanta Kaberi Das, an associate professor in the Music Department of S.T. Anthony College, Shillong.

Besides, many dignitaries like Deepak Sharma, Debendra Nath Basumatari, Dr Shing Borkolai, Dr Arup Kumar Das, Sachin Das, Dr Ganeshwar Saharia and Niru Sarma Parajuli were present in the ceremony, who expressed their opinions on modern literature.
