GUWAHATI: The Assam government has made some changes in the Department of Home with immediate effect. According to a notification issued by the department on Friday, the officers who have been re-designated are — Dr YK Gautam, presently Additional Director General of Police-cum-Director of Fire & Emergency Services, Assam. He has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police in the same post.
GP Singh, Additional Director General of Police, L&O and V&AC, Assam has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police in the same post.
Dr LR Bishnoi, Additional Director General of Police (TAP), Assam has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police in the same post.
SN Singh, Additional Director General of Police (Communication), Assam has been re-designated as Special Director General of Police in the same post.
All the officers will continue in level of the Pay Matrix.
