Road Mishap Claims 2 Lives at Sarighat Bridge in Guwahati
According to reports, the accident took place after a private passenger vehicle hit on the railings of the bridge and fell down 50 ft below.
GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, a fatal accident claimed two lives in Amingaon at the Saraighat Bridge in the wee hours of Monday.
According to reports, the accident took place after a private vehicle Swift hit on the railings of the bridge and fell down 50 ft below.
Meanwhile, two-person travelling in the vehicle died on the spot.
The two deceased have been identified as Rumiza Begum and Fakrul Hussain. Both are residents of Sipajhar, Assam.
As per sources, the car was coming from Sipajhar's Moruasuki to Guwahati.
The vehicle bore the registration number AS 01 BF 0380.
Meanwhile, the Guwahati Police reached the incident spot and an investigation is currently been carried out.
