SBI opens new branch at AIIMS Campus, Changsari

GUWAHATI: The State Bank of India, Guwahati Circle, opened a new branch at AIIMS Campus, Changsari, Guwahati, on Thursday, taking the total number of SBI branches in Guwahati Circle to 799. The branch was ceremoniously inaugurated by Dr. Ashok Kumar Puranik, Executive Director, AIIMS, in the presence of Vincent M. D., Chief General Manager, SBI, Guwahati Circle, Suranjana Dutta, General Manager, Network I, Subhakanta Kanungo, DGM, Guwahati module, and Sarvesh Kumar, Regional Manager, Guwahati Rural, medical fraternities, administrative staff, students, and esteemed customers.

In the inaugural speech, Dr. Ashok Kumar Puranik expressed his happiness and thanked the SBI authorities for opening the branch inside the campus, which will go a long way in fulfilling the banking needs of the larger AIIMS community, including the staff, patients, visitors, and the neighbourhood. Speaking on the occasion, Vincent M. D., CGM, SBI, Guwahati Circle, assured the gathering that SBI would provide the best services with a wide array of financial products, stated a press release.
