Sherman Ali's disqualification from ALA for his 'anti-party activities'

GUWAHATI: As per directions of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and resolution adopted in the Assam Congress Legislature Party (ACLP) meeting, Debabrata Saikia, leader of ACLP, accompanied by senior Congress MLAs Bharat Chandra Narah, Abdur Rashid Mandal and Diganta Barman submitted a letter to the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) on Tuesday for disqualification of the membership of Sherman Ali Ahmed from the ALA for his 'anti-party activities'.
