Swarnalipi to organize National Poets' meet on Independence Day
On the occasion of the forthcoming Independence Day, literary and socio-cultural monthly research magazine Swarnalipi will organize a special poetry festival titled 'National Poets Meet
GUWAHATI: On the occasion of the forthcoming Independence Day, literary and socio-cultural monthly research magazine Swarnalipi will organize a special poetry festival titled 'National Poets Meet : Our Freedom our Inspiration', stated a press release.
Several eminent Indian poets representing Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Oriya languages from places like New Delhi, Orissa, Mumbai and Kerela will participate in the poetry festival with their latest poems while the host State Assam will be represented by prominent poets like Anis Uz Zaman, Dr. Karabi Deka Hazarika, Anuvab Tulasi, Nilim Kumar and Dr. Jyotirekha Hazarika. The poetry festival will be declared open by Professor Dr. Pranjit Bora while Hridayananda Gogoi, editor of Swarnalipi, will chair the session.
