Two killed in separate road accidents in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Two persons were killed in two separate under Bharalumukh police station on Monday.

According to the police, the driver of an ALTO, Dhanjit Deka accidents (24) died at the GMCH in the wee hours on Monday. The ALTO (AS01JC7948) coming from the Jalukbari side hit a tanker from behind at Sanitpur. The driver hailing from Nalbari and two others – Jugantajyoti Das and Sailendra Das, both hailing from Noonmati in Guwahati – were taken to the GMCH. The driver succumbed to his injuries. In another accident a city bus (AS01FC5981) ran over an unknown man at Kalipur near Bhootnath on Monday. The bus was coming from Adabari.
