Wait for Combined Competitive Examination, 2020 result gets longer

GUWAHATI: It seems that the candidates who appeared for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2020 conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will have a wait for some more time to get their results. The Gauhati High Court has fixed July 27, 2022 as the date for the next hearing in the APSC language paper case. The court had asked the petitioners in the APSC language paper case to clarify by June 28 whether they have any objection to declaration of the results of the CCE 2020. Today, the court scheduled the next hearing in the case on July 27.

Some petitioners had earlier challenged the APSC's decision to exempt candidates from six districts of the State from sitting for the language paper of CCE.
