Informing The Sentinel about this, the chairman of CRAPSLA and MLA of Amguri LAC, Pradip Hazarika said that they have already visited many xatras spread over 12 districts. An interim report is being drafted on the basis of these field visits, which will include the facts discovered by the CRAPSLA, he said.

It may be mentioned that during the CRAPSLA members' field visits, they had indicated to the media that they are convinced that some xatra lands have been encroached upon.
