1st Digital Budget Tabled in Assam Assembly

Assam Fince Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma presents State Budget for 2018_19 in the state assembly.

The Budget presented surplus of Rs 1000 crore. The budget estimates show Rs 90673.42 cr under consolidated fund.

Assam presents surplus budget of Rs 1000 crore. With an opening deficit of Rs 3149 crore, the budget ends 2018-19 fincial outlay with a deficit of Rs 2149 crore.

>Tejasvi vadhitamastu Edu-Infra Funds (TNEIF):Development of Professiol Colleges and Universities

>Zero Interest on Crop Loans, Farmers' Debt Relief and Fincial Assistance for Farm Implements

>Universalization of Old Age Pension Scheme: PRAMAct, a law that lays down that all Govt employees should take care of their elderly parents, is ected

>Axom Mala: Program for State Highway & Major District Road Improvement & Reconstruction
