Attacking midfielder, Philippe Coutinho’s official transfer from Liverpool to Barcelo was unveiled as a Barcelo player after the club agreed to pay Liverpool £142million.

According to reports, he became the third most expensive player of all time in the process. Coutinho received a warm welcome and interacted with people in Nou Camp.

Barcelo bought Coutinho as a replacement to Neymar, who went to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, as reported. While Neymar is no longer at the Nou Camp, he wished his friend good luck on the move, via his Instagram page.

"My dream was to come here and these opportunities are unique and I had no doubts. Even though I can't play now in the Champions League, I will be able for the next 5 years" said Coutinho as reported. "Leo Messi is a great player, it will be an honour to be able to play alongside him" he added.
