Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal in presence of Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today distributed 1000 scooties to Assam girl students who secured top 1000 position in higher secondary exams last year at GMC Auditorium, Guwahati.
Himanta Biswa Sarma made announcement of providing girls who would secure excellent results in Higher Secondary results as a pre poll promise.
Next year this number will go up to 5000 as announced by Education Minister.
