Drone to be eyes for Indian Railways

According to reports, Indian Railways has decided to deploy Drone cameras for various railway activities especially project monitoring and maintence of tracks and other railway infrastructure.

Jabalpur being the headquarter of West Central Railways has become the first zol railway to procure drone camera (NETRA) in Indian Railway.

The project has been initiated to keep an eye on the tracks to reduce the chances of rain accidents due to faulty tracks. The drone cameras expected to be deployed in all its Zones/Divisions.
