ECI ensures free and fair polls

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) OP Rawat in a press meet on Thursday at Hotel Japfu in Kohima in galand made it clear that it will not allow anyone to disturb the atmosphere of the election, as per reports.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) Team met with the representatives of different parties noting their suggestions for holding free, fair and peaceful elections. They also met Chief Secretary and DGP, reviewed state’s poll preparedness and law and order situation, as reported. 

CEC has directed election officials to be fearless, neutral during polls, according to inputs.
