Indigo cancels 47 flights: DGCA grounds 8 planes

 According to reports, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India (DGCA) grounded Indigo’s eight A320Neo planes after a report of flight returning from midair.

The eight A320 Neo planes were with faulty Pratt & Whitney engines.

47 flights cancelled by Indigo. The cancelled flights are from Guwahati, Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Cheni, Amritsar, Srigar, Pat, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad, as reported.
