Online Mutual Transfer of Teachers

 In a first-of-its kind experiment, State Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today effected online mutual transfers of 8550 assistant teachers (regular, contractual) of elementary education.

According to inputs, this experiment was done after taking consent of all.

To ensure social and cultural comforts of teachers, we have effected online mutual transfers of 8550 assistant teachers (regular, contractual) of elementary education.

“The online transfers is a win win for teachers and students. Also it does away with adhocism and red tape in teachers' transfers. I am happy to carry forward this basic reform and hope this will encourage teachers to give their best output.” Said Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma
